My little girl turned 1. You may have seen the Dreamy Navajo photo shoot we put together for her birthday…but as it is pretty much impossible to have a real party in the middle of the woods, we decided to have an actual, real party at our house later the same day. And fortunately we were able to re-use most of the decorations from the photo shoot. I love taking decor from events and using it in different settings to show the various ways it can be used–that you can created a gorgeous photo shoot in the middle of nowhere, or a simple and lovely event in your own home.
We love headbands in our house, so we decided to have a “create your own headband” activity center. Our young guests used elastic, feathers, “jewels,” and flowers to create amazing headpieces for themselves.
This little girl had one of the best cake smashes I’ve ever seen. It would appear she likes cake like her mama. Happy 1st birthday to our sweet and spunky baby girl!
