Easter is one of my favorite holidays! It is a sign that the cold and dreariness of winter is coming to an end and new life will soon be springing up in the form of sweet smelling flowers and bright green tree buds. It involves cute little animals like bunnies and chicks. There’s lots of candy, specifically chocolate. And if you follow Jesus, it’s a reminder of love, the ultimate sacrifice, sins forgiven, and eternal life.
Nearly every year since I started planning parties, I’ve wanted to something special for Easter. And every year, Easter would sneak up on me and we’d just throw together a cute, but underwhelming, egg hunt for our children. But this year was different; I was determined and, due to some home remodeling, Monika and I ended up living together (with 6 kids ages 5 and under) for 10 days. Despite the insanity of 10 people under one roof, we had an absolute blast and managed to get a lot of work done, including planning a stylized Easter Egg Hunt! Along with the help of some amazingly creative vendors, we put together this absolutely adorable whimsical woodland egg hunt.
