For four years now, Hello Brielle and I have put on Easter Egg Hunts for our children. It’s been so fun to see our children grow up and actually learn how to hunt for eggs, know what egg hunts are and look forward to them, and have siblings join in and go through the same learning process. And then more siblings. There are just so many kids. But they sure are cute!
This year we were tired and had other events around the same time so we decided to keep it as simple as possible. Which was really good because my eldest got sick the week before and we had sod laid the day before (which means no little people hunting for eggs on our grass). So at the last minute, we changed our venue to Hello Brielle’s house….which was in the middle of an exterior paint project. But that didn’t deter us. The day started out chaotic but we ended up having a delightful potluck lunch with a few friends. And about a million filled Easter Eggs.
Right now we both are really into black and white and gold, and we found these really cute bunny ear cupcakes on Pinterest…and our theme was born. Hello Brielle designed this adorable invitation, which should soon be in her Etsy shop soon as a baby shower invitations (so cute!!!).
We kept decor super simple with some black and white rabbit decorations we found at World Market (I love that place!), a bunch of flowers, and a bunny banner I made with my new Silhouette machine.
We kept food simple as well…everyone brought something and I made the bunny ear cupcakes.
